Important Note: While the Gate Bumper prevents unwanted gate loading, it does not stop “clean cross-loading.” It’s an excellent choice for applications such as Top Rope Solo, leader protection in simul climbing, and general climbing. However, for Lead Rope Solo, we recommend a different solution, as impact forces may exceed carabiner cross-load ratings (typically around 7kN).

Technical Details
Crafted from 3D-Printed TPU for Optimal Durability
The Gate Bumper’s 3D-printed TPU construction offers exceptional abrasion resistance while remaining flexible enough to fit a wide range of carabiners.
Weight: Only 3.5 grams, it adds virtually no weight to your setup.
Color Update: The new color is translucent blue, crafted from a superior, softer TPU for enhanced performance. The turquoise version is now considered a vintage item.

Note: For DMM Buddy 100/200 and ISC Rocker (or similar), use a thinner-gate carabiner without a Gate Bumper.

Verified ownerThe bumpers are a good addition to my LRS setup, they give me peace of mind to avoid cross loading and strong metal on metal contact. I have one set on my DMM Ceros and Revo, and split another between my Microtrax and my anchor biner. The only downside, since I live in Europe, was a long delivery time and I had to pay Duty when it arrived. Nevertheless, I am overall very satisfied with the purchase and happy to support Yann who has posted hours of free material for us LRS weirdos.
