The pre-sale units are estimated to be shipped around June 10-15. NOTE THAT YOUR ROPE DESHEATHS AROUND 5kN IN THE FUSE. The Fuse should be used as a third hand device only. A knot closing the system is still mandatory. A barrel knot (double overhand) is recommended for that. Your primary device and its connector should be BOMBER. I have been using the Fuse jammer kit for the last few weeks starting with single pitch climbing and then a few multi-pitch climbs. I have been very impressed on how well the fuse jammer has been working. So very much better than using back up knots. I am impressed on how fast I am able to manage the cache loops which has allowed me to climber harder routes with decreased stress. So far the fuse jammer has been very durable and consistent.

The best backup solution I’ve used so far for continuous cache loop systems! Friction is minimal, and the Fuse jammer kit makes the overall system so compact and simple. Setup time is almost nothing, and it makes me feel very safe no matter what primary device I use.
