Videos & Testing of a Roc Solo LRS Device

I will receive the device sometime in June 2026.
I’ll be receiving one of the first Roc Solo units and putting it through real-world Lead Rope Solo testing: different rope diameters, repeated falls, and actual climbing scenarios, not just quick impressions.
My goal is simple: produce the most useful, honest, and in-depth testing content possible for the rope solo community.
I’ve spent a lot of time over the years developing and sharing rope solo systems, and I’m trying to make that work sustainable. This campaign helps offset the cost of the device while I cover the rest (including all testing time and production).
You can donate in 34 CA$ (~25 US$ / 23 €) increments by selecting corresponding rewards. There are 26 places for this VIP campain. Everyone will receive the same service : you will get my time to read your messages, special emails with private information and videos before they get public! Also some updates, info and videos just for you in your inbox.
I will use ropes of different diameters from the 8.5mm (Beal Opera) to a 10.2mm (Mammut) I own. Testing might take 2 weeks from the day I receive the device. Also video editing could take 1 or 2 weeks. So the turnaround time for the publication of the video is a month starting the day I receive the device. As you may know, my mission is to bring rope solo education to the world. And the Roc Solo is a LRS (Lead Rope Solo) climbing device created by Roc Amadeus France. For sure we want the Roc Solo to be safe for the community so some testing will be welcome.
